work experience

I have been working in financial planning and investment management since 1992 which includes 4 years at a fee-only financial planning company, 12 years at CIBC Wood Gundy and since 2010 with Lycos Asset Management. I also have been teaching the course, Securities Fundamentals (FMGT 4620) at BCIT since 2014.


My education includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 1990 from EU Business School – a private business school with campuses in Barcelona, Spain; Geneva and Montreaux, Switzerland and Munich, Germany. I also have a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada in 1989. My professional designations include the Registered Financial Planner (R.F.P.) in 1995, the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 1996 and the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) in 2005.


I am the author of the book, “FINANCIAL PLANNING FOR SNOWBIRDS,” published in 2000 by CCH Canadian Limited.


My community service includes being the Treasurer of the Burnaby French Language Preschool (2017 to 2019), Director of the Memorial Society of British Columbia (2010 to 2013), Chairperson of the Parish Education Committee of Saint Francis de Sales Elementary School (2007 to 2008).
