work experience

Colleen has 10 years of experience in research and teaching in topics related to water treatment technologies and processes, and environmental sustainability. Some of these topics including impacts of hydrodynamic conditions on membrane filtration systems for water and wastewater treatment systems, trace contaminant removal in drinking water and stormwater, and water treatment technologies in developing countries. Prior to a career related to water quality, Colleen was a process engineer in an engineering consulting firm for three years, with experiences in oil refinery process design, equipment design and process simulation.
