work experience

Keith Turner has been a BCIT instructor since 1990. During this time he has taught courses some of which include biology, plant physiology, plant cell culture, animal physiology and food microbiology. Prior to BCIT he was contracted to the BC Seed Potato Growers Association where he was responsible for setting up three plant tissue culture facilities in BC and then training over 30 potato growers on the proper procedures in potato micropropagation. Prior to that he was assistant director of a plant tissue culture facility in Kelowna, B.C. which specilized in the micropropagation of fruit trees.

He received his MSc in Agriculture (horticulture) from Purdue University in 1979
