Jill Kerrigan moved to BC after finishing her BSN and began working at Lions Gate Hospital on the Neurosciences ward. She developed a passion for the neurosciences during her nursing education and began to pursue specialty certification. Jill soon discovered a love of teaching after filling in as the temporary Clinical Neuroscience Educator at LGH. She began a Masters of Nursing at Athabasca University with the hopes of one day teaching in a BSN program. She began teaching at BCIT in Jan 2005 in both the clinical and classroom setting.

Presented at the Canadian Association of Neurosciences Nurses conference on the use of mobile technology in nursing education. She shared how her clinical students were using mobile devices in the neurosciences setting.
