Are you a trades person looking to expand your career and knowledge?

A marine mechanical technician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains engines, drive trains, and other mechanical systems used in the recreational marine industry. A career as a marine mechanical technician involves all aspects of repairs to recreational and light commercial boats, from small inflatables (9 ft/3 m) up to large vessels (65 feet/20 m). This would include repairs to diesel, gasoline, and outboard engines, conventional, inboard, and stern drives, hydraulic and domestic fluid systems, electrical generation, heating, and air conditioning systems, and electronic management and controls.
