Electrical Foundation for Women Info Session

Are you a woman interested in learning more about an exciting career as an Electrician? 

Join us for this special online info session for women. The Electrician Foundation program provides graduates with the theory and practical skills necessary to enter the electrical trade. The electrical worker plans, assembles, installs, tests, repairs and maintains electrical equipment and systems in commercial, industrial and marine facilities.

This info session will be joined by be female electricians who are at different points in their careers. Get a chance to speak to women in industry for a robust discussion about the benefits and challenges of a electrical work.

An exciting opportunity to support those who want a rewarding career in the Electrical trade. Johnson Controls has generously partnered with BCIT to support education for underrepresented skilled employees in the trades and technical studies areas. The grant will provide financial support to cover tuition costs for up to eight students in the Electrical Foundation program.
