DOUBLE FEATURE - Machinist/CNC Machinist & Millwright Information Session: IN-PERSON AND/OR ONLINE
October 19 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm PDT
ATTENTION – TWO PROGRAMS FEATURED – MACHINISTS/CNC MACHINIST & MILLWRIGHT
This session will begin with an in-person tour at the Burnaby campus at 5:00 pm. However, for those that are unable to make it to the campus or are not comfortable with an in-person tour you will be able to join the online portion of the session at 6:00 pm. At this time we will do a presentation providing an overview of the programs and answer your questions during our Q&A. Attend this tour and/or online session to get information to potentially start an exciting new career.
Machinists or CNC Machinists interpret engineered drawings and manufacture a variety of complex parts using a variety of machinist equipment. They set up and run lathes, mills and grinders to manufacture specific parts.
Millwrights are often described as masters of all trades as they are expected to install, maintain and repair all types of machinery in almost any industry.
Register for the event and a few days prior to the session you will receive an email with a Zoom link to connect to the online session. (A valid email will be required to receive confirmation and login information for the session.)
