August 9 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm PDT

Start upskilling to become a professional “energy modeller” now with the Building Energy Modelling and Simulations  microcredential program.

BCIT’s School of Energy has heard industry’s challenge to find experts in building energy modelling and simulation. This microcredential has been developed to have the working professionals develop these skills in less than a year. This online program consists of 3 courses:

Come to this information session to receive details about the program and ask questions directly of the instructor Jeanie Chan, P.Eng, BEMP, MASc, CPHD, and Building Performance Engineer at AECOM. With 6+ years of experience in energy modelling, creating 30+ whole building energy models and parametric simulations to support the building design process.

Microcredentials are a new complement to post-secondary education. Different from traditional attendance-based continuing education, microcredentials provide the same type of course and skills assessment as established full-time post-secondary polytechnic programs. Find the support from the BC Provincial Government here: Micro-credentials a gateway to support B.C. workers | BC Gov News.

Register now (a valid email address is required to receive online access for the session).
