The BCIT Biomedical Engineering Technology program is pleased to invite all high school educators interested in the fields of engineering and health sciences to attend this online information session.

The field of biomedical engineering (BME) is very broad, – encompassing tissue engineering, genetics, biomaterials and more. The Biomedical Engineering Technology Program at BCIT is focused on medical device technology. The Program has been graduating BME professionals since 1969, filling positions in the medical device industry including research, development, manufacturing, hospitals, and other support sectors. With health care labour shortages on everyone’s mind these days, medical technology is indispensable to ensure effective and efficient patient care.

This online information session will give you the answers you need to introduce the exciting and rewarding career of biomedical engineering technology to your students.
