Join us at the annual BCIT United Way Halloween Pancake Breakfast

Please join us at our annual BCIT United Way Halloween Pancake Breakfast on Monday, October 31st! Drop by anytime between 6:45 am and 10:00 am for some pancakes, with or without a costume, at Building NE 4 Carpentry on the north side of BCIT Burnaby Campus (3700 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby, BC), all for a worthy cause. Suggested donation: $3.
This year’s theme is a Salute to Essential Workers. Let’s honour the Essential Workers who work tirelessly to keep us safe, fed and moving forward throughout the pandemic and beyond.
Along with Wayne Hand, Dean, BCIT School of Construction and the Environment and his team, we will also have in attendance Paul McCullough, BCIT Interim President and Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley.
So far, we have raised over $7300 thanks to these generous new and returning sponsors. Representatives from these companies will also be in attendance: Chartwells, BCITSA, McElhanney, SBW, CASP, Ledcor, WorksafeBC, Qualico, Graham, ICBA, Paladin, BEST Service Pros, EllisDon, ETRO Construction, Impact Recruitment, Mark’s Commercial and more!
This will be a near zero waste event again, so we encourage you to bring your own cups, plates and cutlery where possible. There will also be compostable ones on hand.
