On-campus Exam Requests for Health Sciences DE Courses

NOTE: STUDENTS IN CARDIAC SCIENCES PROGRAMS
Students who live in the Greater Vancouver Region (Squamish to Abbottsford) and are registered in cardiac sciences program courses are not required to follow this exam procedure, as a seat is pre-booked for each of your exam dates during the term. Please refer to the exam schedule and instructions that will be emailed to you by your program assistant during the first week of your course(s).

Requesting to Write Your Exam On-campus

Students wishing to write their exam on-campus during the pre-scheduled sessions must submit their request using the 'Request To Write Examination At BCIT' electronic form. This form transmits your request directly to your Program Assistant, and you will receive a confirmation email with the session you have chosen. You must request your exam session date a minimum of two weeks in advance of the scheduled session. Please make one request for each exam session required.

IMPORTANT: Exam session spaces are limited and are available on a first-come basis. Sessions will be removed from the request form two weeks in advance of a scheduled session date, or as sessions fill. Once you have registered for an exam session at BCIT you must attend the exam session you have selected. Changes to exam dates are not permitted.

Exams are held at BCIT's Burnaby Campus Test Centre, Building NE1, Room 290, 3700 Willingdon Avenue in Burnaby.

Upon arrival to write the exam, you must produce official picture identification, such as a driver's license, Province of BC identification, or a passport, and sign in.

Requesting to Write Your Exam Off-campus

Should there be no spaces available that meet your exam date criteria, you must then nominate a proctor to invigilate your exam. For information on nominating an off-campus proctor, please see writing your exam off-campus [pdf].

You may also choose to write your exam in one of BCIT's "External Client" Test Centres for a fee. For information on fee-paid Test Centre exam sessions, please see the External Test Centre website.
