Work Experience

Renata has worked in the field of geotechnical engineering since 1999 and has 15 years of consulting experience. During that time she has been involved in a wide range of projects including water and tailings dams, elevated light rapid transit, bridges, pipelines, industrial and commercial building foundations, retaining walls, tailings technology and behavior, and mine and tailings reclamation. Many of these projects included significant site investigation components and Renata has experience with a significant number of geotechnical investigation and monitoring methods. The projects she has worked on have been located throughout the world, although mainly in North and South America, in conditions varying from tropical residual soils to permafrost. Throughout her consulting career Renata has acted as a field engineer, design engineer and project manager. She joined BCIT in 2014.
