This year Alice Mathieson was honored together with Sarah McLaughlin and Julie Aigner-Clark (founder - Baby Einstein) at the Forum of Women Entrepreneurs Gala Celebration, honoring women in the media and entertainment industry.

“We are storytellers. Let us help you bring a human element to your business by introducing your customers to the people behind your company.”

Alice Mathieson is founder and Executive Producer of Life & Times Productions which produces stories delivered for broadcast television, on DVD, your website, iPod and internet TV. In 2006, they partnered to bring their first story to Biography Channel.

Alice decided to live her passion of video & storytelling after the passing of her entrepreneurial immigrant father. That first production in 2002 at his memorial service has followed with 80 unique real stories of people, businesses and events.

Alice was a coordinator and broadcasting liaison for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, working with both CTV and ABC after completing her BSc in Computer Science at University of Victoria. She developed her creative and resource skills as a multimedia specialist for nine years with Apple Computer, winning 3 Golden Apple awards. Recently she graduated from the Forum of Women Entrepreneur E-Series program for high growth businesses, and is also an active member of Women in Film Television and their Executive Lunch Series. Alice is also the Winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year, Creative Services 2005 Inspiration. In 2008 she was honored together with Sarah McLaughlin and Julie Aigner-Clark (founder - Baby Einstein) at the Forum of Women Entrepreneurs Gala Celebration, honoring women in the media and entertainment industry.

Alice completed BCIT’s Entrepreneurial Skills Training (BEST) program in 2003. “If I hadn't taken the program I don't think I'd be successful today - I would have given up. It has given me the foundation to build a sustainable business.”
