The Employment Services branch of the YWCA Metro Vancouver commissioned this report for the purposes of producing a business proposal to offer professional part-­‐time placement services. This report was produced to assess the industry opinion on flexible work options in Metro Vancouver.

The majority of the work conducted must remain confidential as per the client’s request. However the details that are public knowledge include:
To further the research that was conducted, it was recommended that an industry round table event be held. This would allow for a more in depth industry opinion to be explored with respect to flexible working options in Metro Vancouver. The YWCA would greatly benefit from using their existing industry connections such as the Vancouver Board of Trade and their Work BC partners to engage Vancouver’s business leaders in the conversation.
