As White Spot has expanded to over 60 corporate and franchise locations, effective and efficient communication has become increasingly difficult. The organization would like to implement a more effective communication system that allows hourly employees access to information on an organizational level and an individual workplace level.

The project group completed primary research in the form of several face-to-face interviews with management at White Spot’s home office as well as managers and employees at multiple restaurant locations. They gained multiple different perspectives to determine a range of wants and needs for an improved communication system. They also completed secondary research regarding some of the available options for White Spot.

The project team will be presenting recommendations to the client on what they believe White Spot should do to move forward. Recommendations focus on improving methods of communicating to hourly employees on the front-line.
