The goal of the project is to identify factors that make a customer choose a bank as their primary bank where they deposit their income, hold their investments, and seek credit. Successful identification of these factors may enable the Branch to modify its practices, and thus help BMO become the bank of first choice in its downtown market. In addition, the project expects to provide the client with recommendations that can be used as a guide in refining their services so that customers choose this branch over competing banks in the downtown market. In order to provide recommendations, primary research was conducted through onsite and online surveys. The surveys targeted customers of various retail banks. In addition, secondary research was conducted in order to supplement primary research findings and allowed the team to fill in information gaps in the project.
