Agility Logistics - Business Consulting Project

Project Details

Project Client: Agility Logistics
Project Description: Process efficiency review between three offices
Students: Lange Feist and Matthew Somekh
Term: Spring 2012
BCIT Program: International Business Management
The project at the Agility Logistics Richmond office required the student team to benchmark two branch offices in Canada in an effort to discover why these other offices are experiencing better trans-border sales (Southern borders) when compared to Richmond. The student team analyzed the transactional history for the past two years to identify strategies being implemented and what could be benchmarked and implemented at the Richmond office. After nine weeks, the student team utilized a plethora of tools and techniques to produce a number of recommendations for the Agility Logistics Richmond office. These tools included data management and analysis, organizational behaviour and change strategies, international marketing, and operations management.
