Alumni Association Committees

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee sets the direction for and management of the Board of Directors of the BCIT Alumni Association. The committee shall consist of the executive members of Board elected by the membership of the Alumni Association and shall be supported by the Executive Director or designate and past-president of the Association (as required).

Governance Committee

The Governance Committee oversees the ongoing succession management and professional development for the Board of Directors of the BCIT Alumni Association. The committee shall consist of a maximum of six members of the Alumni Association and shall be supported by the Executive Director or designate and the past president of the Association.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee works with the BCIT Alumni Relations office to ensure the long-term financial stability of the BCIT Alumni Association. The committee shall consist of a maximum of six members of the Alumni Association and shall be supported by the Executive Director or designate. There is no minimum number of members required for this committee.

Alumni Engagement Committee

The Alumni Engagement Committee establishes strategic guidelines for the ongoing profile and recognition of alumni to ensure effective engagement strategies can be implemented in order to achieve the goals of the BCIT Alumni Association. The committee shall consist of a maximum of six members of the Alumni Assocation and shall be supported by the Executive Director or designate and past-president of the Association (as required).
