How to register

Test description

The English test assesses the ability to read and understand written material. The test contains questions about readings that are similar in style to readings in trades training textbooks, manuals, and handouts. Diagrams, charts, tables, and short and long reading passages are presented. No prior knowledge of the content is assumed or required.

*Pass mark varies by program and is determined by the difficulty and volume of reading required in your trade program.

You will not be permitted to write the test without the required documents. Your test fee will be forfeited.

What to bring to the test

You will not be permitted to write the test without the required documents. Your test fee will be forfeited.

If you do not pass the re-write, you must wait a minimum of three months to re-write or show proof of completion of an appropriate upgrade course.
