Scholarships and Financial Aid

Scholarships and bursaries are usually a non-repayable source of funds that help students with success while attending BCIT. A wide range of scholarships, awards, and bursaries are available to Aboriginal students to apply for. Please see current list below, most of which are available on an annual basis.

The Norma Rose Point Student Success Grant for Aboriginal Students

Aboriginal Services is offering up to $36,000 (in varying award amounts) through The Norma Rose Point Student Success Grant for Aboriginal Students. To assist in achieving academic success, these grants are available to Aboriginal students who are admitted to any full-time Trades, Technology and Apprenticeship, BCIT credential program. Grants are available to new and continuing students, with preference given to new applicants.

FortisBC Sustainable Energy Management Advanced Certificate (SEMAC) Grant Application

ForitsBC is offering the FortisBC Sustainable Energy Management Grant for five students. These grants are available to new Aboriginal students in the Sustainable Energy Management Advanced Certificate (SEMAC) Program. Deadline and notification: Applications will be reviewed once applications to the program has been approved.
