Q & A

Why did you choose this field?
My dad was an engineer, so I already knew how this industry would be interesting and challenging for me. I was pretty good at math and wanted to make a choice that would ensure I had employment options well into the future, so I decided an engineering field such as architecture was the way to go.
As a BCIT grad, what advantages did you feel you had when it came to looking for your first full-time job?
I had an extraordinary experience getting my first job. I had done my workplace practicum with Ledcor and they called me the day after my last final exam to arrange an interview. I was just finishing classes and hadn’t even thought about where I wanted to work yet and I was hired before I even started to look!
