What is a Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management?

Broadly speaking, technology management is the management of activities requiring knowledge of engineering, technology, and applied science.

Technology managers possess the ability to apply technology principles as well as soft skills to organize and direct people and projects.  Our Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management was developed in cooperation with industry.  Faculty are working professionals and subject matter experts.

Our Technology Management program itself began in 1992 as an Advanced Diploma. Through ongoing development it has grown into the applied Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management degree program: a highly respected and valued “degree of choice” that includes a practically applied graduation project.

Our program will appeal to you if you're a technologist or seeking to improve skills in planning, management, and decision-making within the context of your particular technical specialty. This Bachelor of Technology degree is ideally suited if you wish to develop your career into a management position such as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) or Chief Information Officer (CIO).
