Human Resource Management is a prerequisite for this program. If you have taken one or more of these courses as part of your Management Certificate in HR, your program must be modified prior to acceptance into the Advanced Human Resources Certificate program. For more information, contact Program Advising at 604-434-1610. The Certificate will be granted upon completion of an approved program of study consisting of a minimum of 45 additional credits over and above the Management certificate in Human Resources. These 45 credits may not duplicate any previously credited courses.
Credit Transferability: The majority of our courses can be transferred to most educational institutions in BC. Also, we have articulation agreements with several industry, government and education partners that allow students who have taken courses or programs at these organizations to apply for transfer of their credits to BCIT. For details, contact Student Information and Enrolment Services at 604-434-1610 or toll-free at 1-866-434-1610 (Canada and United States only) to leave your name and number for a Program Advisor to return your call.
Note: Effective in 2011, individuals will require a university degree to apply for the CHRP designation.
