This group of four courses focuses on developing powerful video storytelling skills for anyone interested in enhancing their ability to impact others. Are there stories and issues you want to explore and expose in communities you care about? You will learn the basics of how to find and tell a compelling story from conception to final edit. The act of digital storytelling has become much more prevalent and accessible to everyone in our modern culture. How does one stand out – and have impact – in this abundance of media messages? This is a hands-on series of courses involving writing, shooting, editing, and presentation skills.
Upon completion of the courses listed under the program matrix, you will be eligible to receive the Citizen Journalism Statement of Completion.
