VENT 0111 - Accelerated Venture
Profit from a lifetime of learning by bringing your business dreams to life as an entrepreneur. Based on the successful 20 year track record of the Venture Program this accelerated course offers comprehensive start up business training targeted toward individuals in the launch phase. During this course you will learn how to research your business concept and produce a realistic business plan including marketing and financial sections. The course is taught by a leading edge team of practitioners, most successful entrepreneurs themselves. The Accelerated Venture Course is a non credit course consisting of 126 contact hours (Immersion Phase) and business plan development and 21 months of business support (Launch Phase), where participants learn to assess opportunities for their business concept, and create a business plan to put their ideas into action. Part time and full time options available. Here, you're able to research, plan and launch your business just like the over 1500 Venture graduates. Ultimately, you will leave the program with the ability to run your own business and have the skills to make it a success! Prerequisite: This course will increase the probability of success for anyone who is either planning to start a business or in the early stages of launching a business. Applicants should fit the following profile: (1) Definite career preference to set up and operate an independent business. (2) Technical skills and expertise appropriate to the business that is planned. (3) Willingness and ability to make a personal and financial commitment. (4) A fully developed business concept in mind. (5) Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet). (0 Credits)
