Dream weddings require careful planning. This course examines wedding planning from inception to execution, including managing the procedures and challenges faced from the initial meeting with the couple, to selecting purveyors, contract reviewing, themes and decor. The role and career of a professional wedding planner are also explored. (3.0 Credits)
Final project due 2 weeks after course end date. Weeklong courses are intensive due to the reduced time for independent study between classes. Students are advised to plan for several hours of study after class each evening during the course.
