FMGT 8910 - Integrative Business Management Practice

This course is designed to function as a capstone to the degree program. Its overall objective is to enhance the students' skills by supplementing their knowledge of accounting with a thorough understanding of the management techniques and practices required of accountants as members of a senior executive team. This course includes a major project related to the student's own work situation. Prerequisites: FMGT 7910 and six of the following courses: FMGT 7121, FMGT 7210, FMGT 7310, FMGT 7410, FMGT 7510, FMGT 7520, FMGT 7710, FMGT 8120.

Note: Departmental Approval Needed - THIS IS A BTECH IN ACCOUNTING COURSE - PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES: This is a capstone course for registered BTECH in Accounting Studies and requires the completion of all required technical course (please see pre-requisites), including FMGT 7910.  Special approval required for all students and can be obtained by calling the Program Administrator at 604-456-8070.  PLEASE NOTE: There will be no classes during 2010 Olympic games from Feb 13- Feb 27.  Final Exam on May 1, 2010 from 9 a.m.  - 3:00 p.m.  Class will be held in SW1 Room 1021.
