International trade research enables companies to identify and gather the information they need to make effective decisions about when to engage in international trade and which markets will be the most profitable. This course explains the importance of research in the success of all international trade ventures, including exporting, importing and foreign direct investments. Topics include: using research to develop intelligence about international markets and competing organizations; planning and implementing research; finding effective information sources; and managing research information in an organization. Prerequisite: English 12 (recommended). Business experience (recommended).
