COMP 4631 and COMP 3631 are being replaced by COMP 3641 as of September 2009. COMP 4631 will be offered one final time in January 2010 for those students who have already completed COMP 3631. Continuing from COMP 3631, this advanced six week course covers recent developments in JavaSever Page technology and is aimed at students who already know how to build Java Web Applications. Participants must have a working knowledge of Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages (JSP 2.0). Topics include: the JavaServer Pages Standard Tag Library (JSTL), and the JSP Expression Language. JavaServer Faces technology is also examined to show how this server-side UI component framework is used to enhance client side development in detail from the design through to implementation.
