COMP 1855 - Introduction to Drupal

COMP 1855 has been replaced by COMP 1854. Drupal is an open source (free), modular content management system (CMS) for the web. This hands-on course is designed for students who have completed COMP 1850 or those with some understanding of HTML. Participants will learn how easy it is to keep web page information up to date with Drupal. Drupal is a great choice for small businesses, charities and non-profit organizations who need to accommodate multiple authors. Topics include: site structure, modules, security and simple customization of menus and templates. By the end of this course, students will have created a live project and be familiar with Drupal's administrative interface.

This course isn't currently offered. Please check back next term or contact the appropriate Program Assistant [PDF] to determine when this course will be offered again.
