COMP 1253 - Crystal Reports Advanced Workshop

This hands-on workshop continues on from COMP 1250/1251 and explores the advanced features of Crystal Reports v2008. Students who already know how to use Crystal Reports formulas learn advanced functions and industry reporting standards.Topics include: Custom Functions, Shared Variables, Arrays, Ranges, Repository Items, SQL Commands, and Mapping.Time saving techniques and understanding the best practices for Crystal Reports are also discussed. By the end of this course, successful participants will know how to write SQL expressions that talk directly to databases, to make advanced reports. For the best learning experience and an advanced understanding of Crystal Reports as an end-user, please take COMP 1250, COMP 1251 and COMP 1253 in sequence and in the same term. Prerequisites: COMP 1251 (1 Credit)
