BCIT’s Intelligent Microgrid Project research activities get a power surge from EE Co-op students

This summer (2009) the Group for Advanced Information Technology (GAIT) has recruited two co-op students from BCIT’s Electrical and Computer Engineering program to be part of GAIT’s Intelligent Microgrid research project. Through the Intelligent Microgrid project, GAIT is developing a smart grid test bed on BCIT’s Burnaby campus to allow researchers and utilities to experiment and demonstrate their leading-edge technologies and solutions.
