The Learning & Teaching Centre's mandate is to help BCIT Schools develop and deliver quality teaching and learning that meets the needs of students and industry by:

• Working with instructors to develop new and existing curriculum & courses.
• Creating instructional materials & media, from websites and videos to manuals.
• Providing instructor support through skills development and technology guidance.
• Conducting educational research with a focus on the planning, management and implementation of effective learning environments in a technical training institute.

Each school has a LTC liaison who is your first point of contact for LTC resources and advice on your projects. Learn what we can offer in these pages and in our portfolio.

The LTC manages projects (such as development or review of courses, programs, media, etc.) that are based on a School's strategic curriculum priorities, and range from one week to a year or more in length.
