Web Project Requests

If you are planning a new site, or wish to completely re-work your existing site, our services will be of benefit.

Project requests are plans involving substantial time investment, or that involve other areas of IT Service.

To request a project, please contact our project manager, Alan Etkin with your requirements. Alan or someone else on the team will work with you throughout your project.

It’s important to plan who will maintain and update your new site in advance. The person you select will need to be trained. Web Services offers regular training sessions for the Marqui Web Content Management System. To register for the next session, go the Operation & People Development Registration System and sign up under "Computer Skills".

The project process

1. the site map - information & interface design

The project manger will work with you to determine how to best achieve your site goals, how to organize your content, and how visitors will navigate the site.

2. the project timeline

Meeting your deadlines depends on you. While planning, consider if your staff who are involved will be unavailable or otherwise occupied.

3. collecting text and images

You, as subject expert, will be very involved in collecting site content. The more time you can devote, the faster your site will be completed.

4. site build-out

Your trained Marqui user who will maintain the site is usually involved in site build-out. Again, the more time they can devote, the faster your site will be completed.

After your site launch, we can also help you decide how to promote your site, or how to improve it based on visitor use and feedback.

Easter Egg
