Forensic Science and Technology at BCIT requires highly talented, motivated and qualified professionals for challenging temporary, part-time (day or evening) positions. Short-term daytime/evening part-time studies instructor positions are available in the Bachelor of Technology program as well as various certificate programs. Candidates with significant industrial experience in forensics and security are especially encouraged to apply.
Instructor positions require the ability to communicate effectively. Instructor positions also involve responsibility for curriculum development and academic leadership. Applicants should have demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Qualifications
- Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of five years’ current relevant industry experience in Forensic Science Technology such as Forensic Science, Crime Scene Investigation, Economic Crime. Computer Crime Investigations, Crime Analysis and Security, Intelligence Analysis, Civil Investigations, or Litigation Support) or Quality Assurance
- Minimum of two years' experience in teaching at the post-secondary level
- Qualified and accepted by a court as an expert witness is desirable
