Throughout 2012 BCIT will need term, contract Instructors to teach English courses to BCIT international students in the International Student Entry Program (ISEP).

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related discipline or Bachelor's Degree in English, Communication (e.g. Linguistics) in addition to substantial industry experience
- TESL Certificate, currently accredited by TESL Canada
- Minimum two years’ successful teaching experience at the post-secondary level, preferably with full course responsibility
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Content expertise in Business and Technical Communication
- Membership in good standing in related professional associations is preferred
- Effective communication, interpersonal, organization and time management skills
- Professional attitudes that stress commitment and responsibility for professional growth
- Proficient, professional word-processing, and use of Microsoft Office, internet, voice-mail and e-mail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams, with team leaders and other instructors
- Flexible availability
