Aerospace programs requires temporary Instructors to teach all aspects of the Transport Canada and Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace (formally CAMC) approved curriculum for the
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Category ‘E’ program.
Qualifications
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer ‘E’ licence with previous Airworthiness Certification Authority (ACA) granted by an or Aircraft Operator (AO) or Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO)
- Minimum five years of recent industry experience in the certification of aircraft for both line and heavy maintenance operations
- Graduate of an approved aircraft program from a Transport Canada approved school
- Comprehension of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and how they pertain to the personnel licensing system (aircraft maintenance) in Canada
- Previous supervisory or teaching experience
- An excellent command of the English language
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Completion of an instructional techniques course would be an asset
- Preference will be given to applicants who have well rounded industry experience in in bench, shop, and line maintenance activities. Experience in EFIS, EICAS and other modern avionic systems is also required.
- Ability to instruct the “E” course curriculum at any level and the Electrical segment of the aircraft maintenance category M program
- Must be a team player and contribute to a continuous product improvement environment.
- Completion of the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program would be an asset
