So you are coming to Canada to study at BCIT. Are you anxious about where you are going to live, how much it's going to cost and the thought of being so far away from your family and friends?

The Housing Office at BCIT is here to help you find affordable and convenient housing, whatever your preference or life style.
If you are in a full-time program (four months or longer), you are eligible to live in Maquinna student residence on the BCIT campus, provided space is available. Here you have your own furnished bedroom, and live and prepare meals in a spacious suite with 11 other students. You don't have to worry about transportation — you can walk to class. You also have many opportunities to socialize and make new friends. Please note that the deadline for application is June 1 for the September term. If you prefer private accommodation or if a room is not available in residence you may view listings at the Off-Campus Housing Website.
Another exciting option is living with a Canadian family while studying at BCIT. It's an opportunity to experience Canadian family life and traditions, improve your English and make lasting friendships. Your homestay family provides you with a private room and three meals a day.
