The Food Processing Resource Centre support you by providing expertise and facilities that meet your company’s needs.

Charge out rates

1. Full access package: Lease multiple pieces for one rate, $25.00/hour
2. BCIT personnel charge-out rate:
   • First person: $75.00/hour
   • Additional personnel: $45.00/hour
3. Special projects utilizing BCIT personnel: Negotiable, by quotation

Conditions and terms

• Time charged is the time allocated for use of equipment by the client (as opposed to the actual time operating it).
• Minimum charge, regardless of time used, is $35.00.
• Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (because of liability issues, BCIT personnel must be close at hand).
• Client is responsible for cleanup, safe use and materials expended. If damage occurs, the client is billed for the cost of repairs.
• Depending on the situation, some charges may be applied for training and cleanup by BCIT personnel.
• Certain pieces must be used by BCIT personnel only.
