Priorities & Campaigns
BCIT’s projects and priorities are realized through the support of our donor community of industry partners, alumni, faculty and staff and students. They ensure that we remain integral to the province’s overall prosperity, and that our students receive the support they need to make the most of their educational experiences.
Our current fundraising projects and priorities are focused on the following four main areas:
Through campus-wide initiatives like the Rivers Institute and the Aboriginal Gathering Place, BCIT is successfully addressing contemporary issues such as environmental preservation/stewardship and supporting the Aboriginal community. Our projects are designed to equip future practitioners and policy makers with the tools and experience they need to adapt to a changing world.
Our annual alumni and employee campaigns help to expand educational opportunities for exceptional students through awards and scholarships; provide critical financial support through bursaries and help fund student library resources.
