- CanLearn - a Canadian one-stop resource for the information and interactive planning tools you need to explore learning and education opportunities, research occupations, develop learning strategies, and create the financial plans to achieve your goals.
- Comprehensive Financial Planner - directed towards adult students who are planning to enroll in post-secondary education and need to do some financial planning for their education. The materials consist of a facilitator guide, a student workbook and an online student workbook. (The Comprehensive Financial Planner is on the University of the Fraser Valley's website).

Canada Student Loan (CSL) Service Provider
- To negotiate (cash) a CSL Schedule 1 loan document, take it to a participating Postal Outlet who will forward it to the National Student Loans Service Centre for processing. Be sure to bring valid photo ID.
- For information on disbursement history and repayment options of outstanding CSL loans that were cashed on or after August 1, 2000, contact:

British Columbia Student Loan (BCSL) Service Provider
- To negotiate (cash) your British Columbia Student Loan Master Agreement, take it to a participating Postal Outlet who will forward it to the BC Student Loans Service Bureau for processing. Be sure to bring valid photo ID.

Other Provincial Student Loans (OOP)
Students attending BCIT and receiving assistance from a province other than British Columbia (your home province is not B.C.) will receive instructions on how to cash their loan documents from their home province. Contact your home province for more details.
Lending institutions
- For loans negotiated (cashed) prior to August 1, 2000, contact the lender currently holding your loan account to inquire about repayment, interest-free status, etc.
- Some lenders may offer their own "student loan" that is not affiliated with the provincial or federal government student loans programs. To inquire about such loans, please contact the lender directly. Neither BCIT Student Financial Aid and Awards nor the Ministry process these bank loans.
