Learning through doing

What makes BCIT unique among post-secondary institutions is the career orientation of the programs, which are developed and continually modified with a view to the latest trends in the marketplace.

We also emphasize hands-on experience — 40 to 50 percent of your time will be spent working in labs and workshops under the guidance of our experienced professional instructors. Experiential learning has proven to be the most effective way to learn and it makes you "job-ready" when you graduate.
