Pacific Spirit Project

What is the pacific spirit project?

Pacific Sprit ProjectThe Pacific Spirit Project enables faculty who are interested in incorporating sustainability concepts and practices into their curriculum.  The project commences with a two day experiential workshop in June, followed by a commitment over the following six weeks to reflect and adapt your curriculum. The project reconvenes with a one day meeting in August, where participants will share their plan for next steps, as well as have an opportunity to reflect on their experiences with other faculty who have volunteered in this initiative.

What's in it for me?

Participate in an intellectually stimulating and collegial experience with your peers. The two day workshop will explore how to meaningfully integrate sustainability into the classroom. Resource specialists will facilitate and catalyze discussions about how to develop a green curriculum and its integration and role in the broader community.

How do I get involved?

A maximum of 20 participants per workshop will be able to participate in the Pacific Spirit Project each year. Please complete the call for participants [doc] form and send electronically by May 25, 2012 to Jennie Moore.
