High-Tech Professional Programs, a department within the School of Computing at BCIT's downtown campus, offers intensive programs that combine business, professional, and technical skills in a realistic work environment. You'll learn from experienced professionals in a team-based cohort model and will have an opportunity to make valuable industry contacts through work terms and sponsored projects.

Network Administration and Security Professional (NASP)

The Network Administration and Security Professional (NASP) program is a joint program offered in partnership with the University of British Columbia (UBC). It is an intensive 11-month program that prepares students for a career in network administration and security. The program includes 9 months of full-time classroom learning and an opportunity for a 2-month work term.

Office Administrator with Technology (OAT)

The OAT program is designed to provide learners with the advanced computer and business skills required by administrative positions today. It is ideal for individuals who do not have previous education or background in computing as well as those who need to retrain or upgrade their present computer skills.

Software Systems Developer (SSD)

The SSD program allows students to learn techniques in application development, be exposed to several current web technologies, and apply system development "best practices" to design and develop usable, effective web applications and web sites.

Technology Support Professional (TSP)

Whether starting fresh or looking to upgrade your skills the Technology Support Professional (TSP) is designed to combine the technical, customer service, and professional skills needed to excel in the Technical Support field.  The TSP program is a joint program offered in partnership with the University of British Columbia (UBC).
