CSI Academy - Application and Registration

To Apply for the CSI Academy

Students interested in attending the CSI Academy should submit the following in order to apply:

1. A completed Entrance Application form
2. A copy of your current resume
3. A 200-word essay briefly describing your future education and career goals

Students who register before May 25, 2012 will be entered in a draw for a 1 in 16 chance to win an Amazon Kindle with a gift card for a free Forensics e-book. See contest rules for more info.

Your application should be submitted to Steen Hartsen, Academy Coordinator, via email to Steen_Hartsen@bcit.ca or mailed to the following address:

Upon receipt of your application, a decision will be made as to whether you're a good fit for the Academy. Successful candidates and their parent/guardian(s) will be notified no later than one week before the Academy starts.

To Register for the CSI Academy

Once you've completed your application package, submitted it and you've been notified that your application was successful, you'll be provided with a final registration form and you'll need to do the following in order to register:

1. Complete and submit the final registration form
2. Submit a completed Photo Release form
3. Submit a $260.58 payment for the cost of the Academy

Once you've submitted your completed registration package, you'll be told in which classroom at the Burnaby campus of BCIT the Academy will be held. And that's it! Just remember to show up for the first day at 09:00 on July 9, 2012.
