Printing and Photocopying
Your BCIT ID card can be used for printing and photocopying around campus.
Value can be added to your card at any of the following locations:

Your BCIT ID card is your gateway to all of the resources the BCIT Library has to offer from books, videos, electronic resources, and so much more.
Recreation Services - Fit Pit
The BCIT fitness centre is called the fit pit, and is free for students with a current BCIT ID card. The fit put is fully equipped with a wide selection of free weights, Apex circuit machines, and more than 25 cardio stations including computer bikes, step machines, treadmills, and more.

Audio Visual Services
Your BCIT ID card is required to book any of Audio Visual Services located in SE12-104

The value on your BCIT ID student card can be used at any of the Student Associations retail outlets on campus.

U-Pass
U-Pass BC is a student transit program offered in partnership by BCIT, the BCIT Student Association, Translink and the Province of British Columbia which enables eligible students to receive a three-zone pass valid for all Translink Bus, Skytrain and Seabus services throughout Metro Vancouver.
It also provides discounts on West Coast Express fares. The fee for this program is $30.00 per month and will be mandatory for all eligible students.

BCIT bookstore
Your BCIT ID card can be used at the BCIT Bookstore to purchase value priced software. It is required during the "used book buyback" as proof of your student status.

Campus ID
Your BCIT ID card is your ID while on campus and you could be required to show it at any time to verify your student status. It may also be required during exams.
How to replace a lost, stolen or damaged card
Report lost or stolen cards to campus security at 604-451-6856 or 604-412-7600. There is a $10 replacement fee for a new card. Protect your card as any money stored on your card is gone when a card is lost or stolen.
Card Care
- Do protect your BCIT ID card, and keep it with you as security ID.
- Lanyards and protective pouches can be purchased at the BCIT Bookstore.
- Always keep the BCIT ID card with you.
- Don't punch holes in or bend your BCIT ID card.
- As with credit cards, keep away from magnetic fields.
