(Sustainability Festival is an annual one day free - admission event showcasing the environmentally innovative companies and resources in our community. It is held at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby Campus in the Convocation Hall.)

A native of Hong Kong, Pauline started working in the fashion industry in Toronto after studying Fashion Design at Ryerson University. Pauline moved to Vancouver in 2007, drawn by BC's beautiful surroundings and the abundance of wildlife.

Drawing inspiration from beauty in nature, the intricacy of the planet's delicate ecosystem, all of flora &fauna's pieces reflect Pauline's deep love for the natural beauty in our world. With a blend of clean lines, rich colors, and lasting style, flora &fauna incorporates nature and animal themes in to each design, and is proud to support local animal welfare and nature conservation organizations.

Flora & Fauna's Spring - Summer collection will be carried in Vancouver retail locations, including Hum Clothing (3623 Main Street), Mudsharkstreetwear.com and Granville Island Organix (1812 Boatlift Lane). An exclusive Holiday collection will be available at the Portobello West Holiday Market on December 13 & 14, 2008 at Rocky Mountaineer Station (1755 Cottrell Street).

Pauline says; "The BEST program at BCIT equipped me with the small business skills that allowed me to be able to fully run my business on my own, while minimizing the chances of making costly mistakes. The panel of experts provided an excellent sounding board, and the mentorship with Megan of Peel Designs is invaluable. I really enjoyed the time we spent in classes, and becoming friends with entrepreneurs from all walks of life, all with different business ideas. I'm really looking forward to our next monthly class meeting, where we get caught up on everyone's progress, share resources, and celebrate everyone's success!"
