BCIT School of Business Part-time Studies (PTS) offers you great flexibility in both course and program selection and scheduling.
BCIT has many credential programs and courses offered in the evenings and on weekends to accommodate your learning needs. One-day workshops and compressed courses lasting one to two weeks are also available.
Search for courses that interest you or download our Part-time Studies flyer for a complete list of programs and courses available this term. Individual BCIT courses can be taken as long as the course prerequisites are met.
To take courses or start a program through PTS:
Most PTS courses are delivered in classrooms or labs at various BCIT campuses, but some may combine classroom learning with the Internet, distance & online learning, or other methods. If you'd like to save travel time and gain schedule flexibility, consider distance & online learning.
Courses that are part of full-time programs are usually filled to capacity. You may be able to take advantage of an opening when studying part-time if you obtain permission and follow the special enrolment process. Find out which school within BCIT offers the course, look up the program there, and call the contact person for the particulars. However, not all programs permit course enrolment on this basis.
Earning a BCIT credential is easier than ever! Studying part-time at the Burnaby or downtown Vancouver campus allows you to continue your full-time job while learning new skills to advance in your career. A growing number of BCIT business courses are being delivered through online learning. Most of BCIT's Certificate programs can ladder into a Management Certificate or a BCIT Diploma program. Below are all of the business programs that can be completed part-time separated by credential.
