Programs and Courses

The BCIT Accounting, Finance, and Insurance department offers two year full-time programs that commence in September.

• Accounting
• Finance
• Financial Planning
• General Insurance and Risk Management

In the first year all students take the same courses in order to receive a solid grounding in core business subjects. In the second year you will take a number of common courses along with specialized courses depending on which of the above options you’ve selected.

If you already hold a degree or diploma you might be interested in our Bachelor of Technology in Accounting. We also offer flexible evening courses in Part-time Studies at our Burnaby and Downtown Campuses, or correspondence courses through Distance Education.
