Overview

The BCIT Archives is located on the main floor of the Burnaby Campus Library. 

The Archives mandate is to acquire records which contain evidence and information about the institution's history, organization, function and structure. These include:

• records created, received and accumulated by the various governing bodies of the BCIT;
• records of activities from groups such as the Alumni Association, Student Society and Faculty and Staff Association, which reflect the life of the BCIT community; and
• records of historical significance detailing BCIT’s growth from the late 1950’s to the present.

Special collections include the BCIT Theses Collection and special thematic or media-based collections that contain both archival, published and unpublished material.

BCIT Archives is staffed Mondays and Tuesdays each week to assist the BCIT community access historical records.
